This is a question that we are asked by anyone even thinking of building sweet home real estate. There are so many factors that go into building a home, not only the cost of the home itself, but land or lot cost, whether you are building on a flat, slopped or hillside, utility cost, and permits vary from city to city or county when considering sweet home real estate.
The other problem is we specialize in custom houses, no two homes are the same, and therefore no two costs are the same. All these factors are running through my head when someone asks me what a house is going to cost, I usually respond with, what does a car cost? The short answer is… that’s up to you.

My fees are based on a percentage of the total cost of your home once all the bids are in, including all materials, subcontractors, and labor cost to complete your home. We will meet up for a reveal, and if we are over your budget, I will give suggestions of areas to save money, and if approved, we will rebid those areas. This is repeated until the house you want, fits into the sweet home real estate budget you have. All that being said, I have been doing this a long time and by listening to what you want to build, I can give you a ball park idea of cost per square foot.
